EV Charging Infrastructure Summit - North America
Achieving the future of EV charging reliability and performance
9th Edition | July 14-15, 2026
Chicago
The broader EV charging infrastructure market was valued at roughly $5–6 billion in the U.S. in 2024 and is projected to grow at approximately 28–30% CAGR through the end of the decade, reaching more than $24 billion in the U.S. alone by 2030 according to recent industry forecasts. Residential and workplace charging are expected to continue dominating overall charging activity, with Level 1 and Level 2 charging accounting for roughly 80% of EV charging demand by 2030. At the same time, public fast-charging deployment is accelerating rapidly along highway corridors and in underserved regions, with the U.S. now exceeding 70,000 public DC fast-charging ports nationwide and major corridor buildouts underway across more than 25 states.

Organized by the Smart Grid Observer, the 9th EV Charging Infrastructure Summit - North America, July 14-15, 2026 in Chicago convenes top industry experts and energy professionals to examine trends and opportunities in the growing EV charging market, and what investments are needed to optimize grid stability and the end user experience. Case studies of current utility programs and deployments will be discussed with an eye toward refining strategies, identifying technologies, and implementing business models that will ensure widespread EV adoption is optimized for all stakeholders.
